Women’s Empowerment – Reusable Sanitary Towels Project

By | August 21, 2020

We are so proud to be partnering with Barbra Kemigisha in her feminine hygiene project for young women and girls in Kasese District in Uganda.

It is such a huge undertaking with such an amazing vision and big goals for helping empower women in society there.

It’s absolutely thrilling to see the joy and passion and hope that this has already birthed.

We took on this feminine hygiene products project to increase the esteem of disadvantaged girls, equip them with vocational skills, increase community awareness and in turn reduce health complications and infections!!

Please pray with us as “Barbra’s Orphanage Visit” has turned into a full-scale mission. In only a few days!

Praise the Lord! 🎉 🎉 🎉

Miss Barbra gave us this report…

We had a successful day yesterday [8/19/20]! We thank God for the health and the good weather. We visited two places – NOTDEC Orphanage Uganda on Bwera Road and Rwenzori Rural Health Services in Kabughabugha.

Thank you so much Celia. I am so grateful for the kind thoughts and words. I know that God has led us together in this. It is such a blessing to have you in leadership with me at The Everett and Austin Project. We are just scratching the surface of what we are able to accomplish together. God is with us and I am so excited about what is coming!!
