The incomparable Toni Quest has jumped on our team here at The Everett and Austin Project. Very exciting interviews with her this week.

From Toni’s bio on her website:

Toni Quest, MAED/AET, BFA As a self-taught artist, Toni Quest engages in art to express her feelings genuinely and with impact. The canvas has been a vehicle for her to discover feelings that linger deep within. Toni Quest was named one of Westchester County’s ‘Leading New Artists’ in 2006. Her art was featured in the Westchester Arts Council’s Young Emerging Artists exhibition. Toni Quest is one of the artists selected to participate in the ‘James Brown, Visual Soul’ exhibition in Augusta, GA. Her vibrant portraits of the legendary James Brown were exhibited in the May 2006 exhibition and celebration. Her award winning piece, ‘U.S. in Us’ is featured on the cover of the anthology, View from the Middle of the Road, Volume II, U.S. in Us ‘ (PRA Publishing). A selection of her poetry is featured in the anthology as well.

Inverview 1

One interview was recorded for her program on public access TV on this past Tuesday night (February 26, 2019). Editing has commenced and the final product should be uploaded within 2 weeks. So by March 12, 2019.

I’ll let you know when the airing is. It will be aired on Peekskill Public Access Channel 15. Recordings will be available afterward.

I’m excited about how it went. Toni was so excited to promote and advocate for what we are doing here at The Everett and Austin Project.

Interview 2

Interview two will be recorded Friday night at 10 pm EST (March 1, 2019). It is for Toni and Peter Elvidge. Together they have a podcast called “Seeing Beneath The Surface.” The editing will take about 1 week and the finished product should be available to see by March 8, 2019.

Seeing Beneath The Surface is a podcast for those looking to be motivated educated and inspired. Hosted by Peter Elvidge & Toni Quest you are sure to hear great interviews discussions on many topics and personal views from the hosts.
