Here is our new Flyer that we created this month to help build awareness of what we are trying to accomplish in Africa. There are many organizations in the first world that are able to provide care and support for children and families who are struggling from the affects of Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy.
Very few organizations exist in the third world that are trying to make a difference for Duchenne families, especially in Sub-Saharan Africa. In the ones that do exist, very little funding and resources exist to make a difference. We exist to make a difference. Help us make a difference.
The Everett and Austin Project is named after my sons who died from Duchenne in the USA where we had great care. Even that was excruciatingly difficult. Imagine how difficult that would be in the poorest part of the world. Uh huh. Thought so. Heart breaking. I’ve seen it with my own eyes.
