What an amazing Christmas we had! 157 disabled kids received a “Father Christmas” gift package or cash from The Everett and Austin Project. We collaborated with these sister organizations in Uganda and Kenya to make this happen:

  1. Sapphire Foundation (Uganda)
  2. Desert Seed Foundation (Uganda)
  3. Love Touch Ministries (Uganda)
  4. Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy Foundation Kenya (Kenya)

We could not have done this without the fantastic leaders on the ground in these wonderful organizations!

Here are some of the highlights of our “Father Christmas” outreach for Christmas 2020. Thank you to all who participated and donated to help make this such a huge success!

Thanks to our partnership with our sister organizations Love touch ministries, Desert seed foundation and Sapphire…

By Tim Gillen

I'm a born-again christian, sold out to serving the needs of the less fortunate and in Sub-Saharan Africa. I founded The Everett and Austin Project in October 2018 to honor my 2 boys posthumously by helping people living in poverty going thru Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and other rare diseases. My sons each died of Duchenne, Austin in 2012 at age 16 and Everett in 2017 at age 22.

  1. Amazing work Tim, TheEverretAnd Austinproject,LoveTouchMinistries, Sapphire foundation,Desertseedfoundation.
Thanks for reaching out to the children and spreading love ❤️

  2. Thanks Tim Director @TEAAPI for the great financial and material mobilization and support towards such programs, 2020 was a success regardless of the challenges.
We look forward to registering more success even in this 2021.

      1. Initially it was 80,000 for an equipment but when we introduced in cushioning and some other special adaptations, the cost went to 90,000, then 30000 per child for food and nutritional support and withdrawal charges coming to a total of around 1453000 uganda shillings.
        Thanks

  3. There is no Christmas holiday with no love and give back. I’m so happy to see Father Christmas Duchene gave back to all those families and children that would miss out on having a wonderful holiday. Lord bless all those who donated and gave in to make that day colorful.
    Lord bless you all.

    1. Thank you so much for having this Father Christmas idea. Very very kind-hearted and thoughtful of you. Brilliant. And I am so glad that we decided to act on this Father Christmas idea of yours. You get the credit! 👏👏👏

So amazing how it turned out. We are so lucky to have you on our leadership team! 😃😃😃😃❤️❤️❤️❤️

    1. It came out so good! Really really amazing. I have never been such a giver at Christmas before. Thank you and the rest of our team for helping us all be so generous! Glory to God! 🎉 🎉 🎉

  4. Yes Tim, it changed from 80000 to 90000 when we introduced in special adaptations and cushioning per equipment, then we had calculated 30000 for food and nutritional support and may be around 13000 transaction charge, totally to 1453000.
    Thanks

      1. Oh wait! We already did! My mistake. So sorry. Ok let’s try to raise this $404 together on Facebook! I feel certain that we will be successful. And very quickly! 😁❤️🙏🏼🤗
