Donate

Thank you for your desire to donate to The Everett and Austin Project. This project, or perhaps better described as a foundation, has been created posthumously to honor my 2 boys who have passed away at age 16 and 22 from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD).

Our purpose is to help the poor, especially in third world countries, to deal with this horrible disease. Please donate to the cause. Here is the easiest way to do a straight up, simple donation:

Other ways of giving include purchasing a poster from “Photography by Tex.” The easiest way to do that is to pick a photo on the following page and pay for it there. All proceeds go to The Everett and Austin Project:

America may not be in perfect shape, but when compared to the African state of poverty, the American poverty pales considerably. There are always others in the world who have greater needs than those in countries who have been blessed with running water, reliable food sources, and functioning hospitals.

– Zachary Wright, The Borgen Project

According to Zachary’s blog, there was a study done in 2010 that shows that America has 49.7 million people living in poverty (15% of the 325.7 million people), and Africa has 239 million people living in poverty (20% of the 1.216 billion people).

After accidentally sleeping through my train station and being seemingly lost in the middle of nowhere at 1:00 am, I was thankfully picked up by Timothy and brought to where I needed to be. Never in my life have I felt more of a duty to give to this foundation, after hearing about Timothy and his past and his life. While I’ve had good Uber drivers before, Tim deserves not only a high amount of praise for his reliability and efficiency as a driver, but for what he stands for overall as a human being. I hope this donation helps! Thanks again, Tim.

Thank you so much for your kind words and donation to our cause. It means so much to me. Everett would have been 25 this year on Feb 25th. I thought it was so interesting how you happened to tell me that you are also 25 now. And I don’t think that it was an accident that you fell asleep on the train and we happened to connect. Seems like a divine appointment if you ask me. Have a great day today! God is good 😊
